TOP 4 INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 'STEM' GRADUATE STUDENTS TO STUDY ABROAD

If you want to pursue a master's degree in science but come to the US or UK, what usually happens is that when you apply for a master's program and say individuals want a scholarship, the scholarship often comes through automatically, partially, or even completely. Similarly, when applying for a Ph.D. program and gaining admission, you are likely to receive a percentage of the scholarship automatically.

However, there are some instituted scholarship programs to which you have to apply separately, and they are large, generous, and well-known. So, here is a shortlist of five STEM master's scholarships for study in the United States and the United Kingdom.

1. Google awards scholarships

Google offers a variety of scholarships to students across the globe who want to study computer science or computer engineering.

I'm going to highlight two of those scholarships in this article.

Scholarship for Google Generation
This is for a group of undergraduate and graduate students who have proven academic excellence, extracurricular activities, thought leadership, and diversity, and they are looking for students like you that are currently enrolled in a degree program.

Eligibility
It could be a bachelor's degree program or a master's degree program in computer science or engineering.
And if you plan to pursue a graduate degree in computer science or engineering, or even an undergraduate degree in the United States or Canada.

Before giving this privilege, they will take into account student excellence. The award is $10,000 if you study in the United States and $5,000 CAD if you study in Canada.

Technical scholarship for women

The woman's technical scholarship would be open to students in the Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. programs.
Considering the size of the award. It is $10,000 if you study in the United States, $5000 CAD if you study in Canada, and 7,000 euro if you study in Europe.

2. The Gates Cambridge Scholarship

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship available for study at the University of Cambridge and for research-based programs, which are the only programs that eligible for the scholarship. You could pursue a two-year research-based master's degree. You could also do a one-year program, such as an MPhil and LLM, or a one-year MBA, or a three-year research-based Ph.D. Medicine-based programs, diploma courses, non-degree courses, and non-research-based courses were not included in this program.

What exactly are they looking for? They are looking for academic success. They're looking for leadership, as well as a good fit with Cambridge. So, before applying for the scholarship, you should do a lot of research into the programs at the University of Cambridge, as well as the colleges where these programs are located. And you want to look at the professors and all of the teaching styles in order to prove to the university that you are a good fit for that program at the university.

It's a very generous scholarship that covers all of your tuition fees as well as the cost of living up to £17,500 per year, which is a really generous cost of living. It also includes the cost of your visa and health insurance, as well as one economy flight back to your home country.

3. Stanford's Knight Hennessy Scholarship

The Knight Hennessy Scholarship at Stanford University is the world's largest fully endowed scholars program, covering hundreds of students from all over the world, including full tuition and living expenses.
This is intended for international students from all over the world.
What differentiates the Stanford program is that you are eligible if you apply to any graduate program. This could include any master's degree in any field. Any Ph.D. program, joint degree, or dual degree program is also eligible.

They want students who can outthink their work and care for others, which means they value independent thought, purposeful leadership, and a civic mindset. Without a doubt, they are looking for academic excellence because, after all, you must first gain admission to Stanford University and then to the Night Hennessy program.

They're looking for a minimum of a four-year undergraduate study, which means you'd be eligible if you've completed your engineering as a four-year degree program, or perhaps your MBA, or you've completed an undergraduate five-year integrated law program.

Any of those degrees qualifies you for this Stanford program, but what if you have just a three-year bachelor's degree? In that case, you should have completed a master's degree program. I know that makes it three to five years, but if we've concluded a three-year undergraduate program in another country, we must have a bachelor's plus a master's degree.

You might even want to ask me whether there is an age limit for intents.

Can I apply right now?

Or until when can I apply?

Can you apply if you are in your fourth or final year of your undergraduate program?

Remember what we said about three plus two? If you completed a three-year program, you must be in your final year of your master's program. That is the earliest you can apply, and you can apply up to four years after finishing your bachelor's program.

The Application Procedure

English proficiency tests (IELTS/TOEFL)

The scholarship program application includes a Stanford University application with a few essays and an independent application to the Hennessy program

If you want to go to law school, you must take the LSAT;
if you want to go to medical school, you must take the MCAT.
A GRE is required for an engineering-science program, while a GMAT is required for a management-based program.
That is the first standardized test you must take. In addition, they require the English language test score, which is the IELTS/TOEFL.

4. The American Association for University Women (AAUW Scholarships)

This is a scholarship for female students pursuing higher education in research-based fields. You could be studying for a master's degree, a Ph.D., or even post-doctoral research, and the award is quite generous for a master's program. For a Ph.D. program, you could get up to $18,000 per year, and for postdoctoral research, you can get up to $30,000 per year.

They require a four-year or five-year undergraduate degree with a minimum of four years of experience, or we require a three-year degree with two years of master's degree completion.

At least one year of research must be included in your program. They're looking for potential leaders, and they want you to show a commitment to returning to your home country. They would also take into account financial requirements.
When putting together your application, make a compelling case for why it is urgent and important for you to return and use all of your research and education experience back home when you return to your native country.
